I am Mir M. Khalid (Khalid), a postdoctoral researcher (Verdin lab) at Buck Institute for Research on Aging in Novato, CA, USA. ​During my PhD, I delved deep into the molecular virology of ZIKV and SARS-CoV-2. My research has allowed me to gain valuable insights into how viruses evolve to cause human diseases. I am gaining expertise in the longevity field to understand factors that influence aging.
